Beautiful and unusual antique Valentine from the 1910's, featuring an Art Nouveau motif and a moveable heart with two cherubs. This piece features a layered paper design which is folded in an unconventional way. Most likely this card presented differently when it was first produced, but it has been altered with time. The front most portion of the Valentine has been folded over on to itself. Due to the delicate nature of the paper, we have not attempted to unfold this piece. The Valentine is in good condition for its age, and, aside from a large tear to the center of the piece, there is no major damage to speak of. The heart in the center moves back and forth when touched.
Please see all of our photos for a closer look at this piece. Check out our other listings for more antique Valentines. Thank you!
