Live recording of a fundraising concert to benefit the restoration and re-opening of Palm Springs’ historic theatre, The Plaza.
Rock the Plaza CD captures a once-in-a-lifetime live performance recorded at a star-studded benefit concert held on November 11, 2022.
The evening brought together legendary artists Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers, Joshua Homme, and Orianthi, backed by an all-star band led by Brian Ray and Spike Edney. The set features iconic hits alongside rare, one-of-a-kind covers, all performed in celebration of one of Palm Springs’ most treasured cultural landmarks.
More than a live album, Rock the Plaza documents a pivotal moment in the revival of the Plaza Theatre, a historic Art Deco venue that first opened in 1936. Powerful performances, incredible musicianship, and a shared commitment to preservation make this recording truly special.
A must-have for music lovers, Plaza Theatre supporters, and fans of Palm Springs history.
